Cooling Off At The White Sands Beach Resort
Aloha TWA family, last weekend has been amazing spending my Saturday at one of the best beaches in Ghana. Don’t even know what to start writing about, the food, the beach, the buildings, the views? really don’t know where to start from but I definitely know it was an amazing experience at the White Sands Beach Resort and Spa.
A little over an hour drive from Accra to Gomoa Fetteh sits the beautiful White sands beach not too far away from Tills beach. White sands beach is a club but it’s open to the public from Mondays to Saturdays. Non members of the resort are expected to pay an amount of Ghs110 per adult as entrance fee. There’s a swimming pool, beach, bar, spa and rooms to spend the weekend.
The resort has this African, contemporary and luxurious feel that makes you never want to leave. It’s so unique and breath taking. The environment is very relaxing and quite with just few people around, mostly expatriates. I fell in love with almost everything here. The unique buildings, their kitchen decor, the pool(made with stones) the cabana over looking the sea, the art works in the bar and other little details.
The beach is separated from the resort so in order to get to the beach, you’ll have to cross the Kalo lagoon by standing on a plastic floating platform which takes less than 3minutes to cross. This experience very much reminds me of Bojo beach and I enjoyed every bit of it. I’ve included lots of pictures and a video below to help you experience the moment with me.
