Things To Pack For A Trip

Can’t decide things to pack for a trip? Well, it’s not easy deciding on what you need to carry along with you on a trip but it’s always helpful to have a rundown of items you want to pack on your trip, it doesn’t matter if  you’ve taken so many trips or if it’s your first trip. Below is the list of items you absolutely need to take along, any other thing can be sorted out later

Important travel document: First start by taking all important documents such as your passport, personal ID cards, cash or credit cards among others. Don’t forget to check if your passport or ID cards aren’t expired and also email yourself a scanned copy of your passport, itinerary or ID card so just in case anything happens to them, you can always access them online.

Pen drive: The bigger the better, (16GB, 32GB) either way, they are a great way to backup your priceless travel pictures and videos not to mention all the music and movies you can, and will, ‘borrow’ from your fellow travelers.

Mini medical kit: I really mean mini – all you ‘really’ need is a box of plasters/band-aids, a pair of small scissors, a bottle of iodine and some decent painkillers. Anything that requires more probably also requires a trip to the doctors where they will invariably have a much bigger array of materials at their disposal. You can also take along multivitamins to supplement your diet of foreign beer and local food.

Toiletry bag: Keep your toiletry bags very easy and light so as not to consume all the space in your traveling bag. Items such as toothbrush, hair rush, makeup, shampoo and lotions and personal hygiene items.

Clothing: It is advisable to take just few cloths and what you do take should be of decent quality and fit for as many purposes as possible. You can avoid taking sunglasses since you can always get one to buy on every street corner.

Consider travel security: Travelers should always be on the lookout for pickpockets. The easiest way to keep your belongings safe is to keep them hidden and close to you. One way to do this is to stash your valuables underneath your clothing. You can do this with a money belt, hidden pocket, neck wallet, undercover bra stash, leg wallet, or holster. All of these options let you keep your valuables, such as passports, credit cards, and cash, close to your body and away from prying hands.

Ok so lets wrap it here with the things to pack session and remember not to take too many things along. Have a safe trip!
